Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

As soon as you get to TIA, you’ll see that a member of our team is there to greet you. He will then take you to your Kathmandu hotel. You can take a shower and unwind for a while in your lodging.

A great city to visit is Kathmandu. In the evening, you can explore the many areas close to the hotel. We’ll also take you to Thamel in the evening, which is much more attractive at night. You can savor the evening and sample various cuisines.

One of our staff will provide you the trip’s whole itinerary as you get back to the hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing Day in Kathmandu (or Spare Day)

You will enjoy an additional day in Kathmandu today. You can get ready for your trip. On the other hand, you can buy various trekking supplies and other items needed for the adventure.

You will visit the UNESCO world heritage site inside the valley as per our schedule for the day. Early in the morning, our representative will arrive at your location and drive you first to the Pasupatinath temple. Swayambhunath, the monkey temple will be your next stop after that. As the day goes by, you’ll get to discover the enthralling architecture of Patan Durbar Square.

In Kathmandu, you can enjoy a variety of cuisines. As one of the city’s well-known cuisines, authentic Newari food is available for you to sample in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla Airport & trek to Monjo

After breakfast this morning, we’ll depart for the Tribhuvan International Airport. From Kathmandu, you will be traveling to the Lukla Airport. The flight will last for roughly 30 minutes. During the flight, you will see the stunning alpine scenery. With each passing minute, trekkers get closer and closer to the Khumbu region’s natural wonders.

You can take a little break in the Lukla Village once you arrive there. You will be moving in the direction of the Monjo after a while. The walk will take six hours to complete. We will explore the monastery and the village of Monjo to help our bodies adjust to the long day trip.

Day 04: Trek from Monjo to Namche Bazaar

The pristine mountains are now visible when you awaken following a few more spectacular segments of our tour. When you awake, we will offer you a breakfast to give you the strength to do the entire walk without feeling exhausted.

The trek advances with a breathtaking sight of Mt. Thamserku as we cross the Dudh Koshi river on one of the many suspension bridges. At the Sagarmatha National Park entrance, where you must check your hiking permits, we will finally arrive.

Here onwards, the trail follows the ridge’s steep ascent. Finally, we reach Namche Bazaar, a bustling town with a crescent form.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

The acclimatization day is among a long-distance trek’s most essential aspects. To prevent altitude sickness, especially during the trip to the hilly area, travelers must adapt to their surroundings.

Today, you can also travel to the Namche Bazaar’s neighborhood. To observe Mount Everest, Thamserku, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other magnificent mountains, you can visit the Everest View Hotel.

From the Everest View Hotel, you may stroll past Hillary College, Khunde Hospital, and Khumjung Valley to get back to Namche. You interact with the joyful Sherpa and Rai people at Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dhole

From Namche Bazaar, we will go today in the direction of the Dhole. Our pathways will take us to the Dhole today after breakfast. The walk will take five to six hours to complete.

We hike along a nice trail over the Dudh Koshi River to Thamserku and descend later on. The breathtaking views of the massive, prominent snow peaks in the distance is worth the effort.

Day 07: Trek from Dhole to Machhermo

We shall once more be traveling from Dhole in the direction of the Machhermo after breakfast.

The trail continues up alongside a valley high above the river, passing numerous sand spurs as it heads towards the Machharmo. This settlement serves as both the starting point for today’s trip and a Sherpa pasture community. After arriving, we can go to the Himalayan Rescue Association.

Day 08: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake

We’re going to Gokyo Lake today. One of the highest freshwater lakes in the world is the Gokyo Lakes. We’ll depart from Machhermo in the early hour of the day. We will arrive at Gokyo Lake, our final target for today’s trek. Before starting our journey to the terminal moraine of the Ngazumpa glacier, where we will start our trek to the first lake, we pass via the riverside. After an hour of walking, we will reach Gokyo on the edge of the third lake as the trail ascends a slope to the second lake vista. Overnight in Gokyo.

Day 09: Explore Gokyo

This morning, we’ll go up to the Gokyo Ri for breathtaking views and a spectacular sunrise. Only two to three hours will be allotted for the walk. The walk you take today will be one of your favorite hikes. You’ll be stunned by the mesmerizing view of the four tallest peaks in the globe, Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu.

Trekkers will be able to see the many other snow-capped peaks in a similar way. You will be coming back to the Gokyo from Gokyo Ri.

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo to Thangnak

We shall continue on our way to Thagnak after leaving Gokyo. There are many ups and downs on the routes today, which could be difficult for you. However, because we are not gaining altitude, we can correctly cross it.

Ngozumpa Glacier will be seen as we proceed. We will arrive in the village of Thagnak after a five-hour journey. This charming community is located on the Ngozumpa Glacier’s flank. Overnight in Thagnak.

Day 11: Trek from Thangnak to Dzongla via Cho La Pass

We shall continue our hike in the direction of Dzongla after breakfast. We will start our journey early in the morning because it will be a lengthy one. The path that the trail takes is rocky.

As we hike to the Cho La Pass, we will cross the glacial moraines. Views of Mt. Cholatse and the Cho La Lake are captivating from the Cho La Pass. You will have a stunning vista as we walk downhill from here. After a strenuous day of hiking, we will eventually reach Dzongla.

Day 12: Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche

We have a quick hike to finish today. We’ll leave Dzongla and move toward Louche. We begin to see the Everest more clearly as we approach Lobuche. The trail follows the moraine as it descends to Cho La Lake. We travel along the Khumbu Glacier.

Our journey to the traditional Everest route begins at Lobuche. The monuments to the climbers who perished while scaling Everest are seen. Our route passes through Imja Khola. We will finally arrive at Lobuche after a beautiful hike, bringing us very near to Mount Everest.

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep

You will get to visit the base camp of the tallest mountain in the world at this exciting point in the climb. Increasing your altitude will undoubtedly be difficult. We will go to Gorakshep to begin the trek.

We must gather our stamina and walk from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp. We will eventually arrive at Everest Base Camp. The most beautiful views are from base camp. You will get to see Mount Everest up close. In addition, the Khumbu glacier is visible from here.

You can capture some images and videos that will serve as keepsakes of Everest. The climbers can be seen here, ready to ascend. After that, we’ll return to Gorakshep for the night.

Day 14: Hike to Kala Patthar, trek to Gorakshep and then to Pheriche

We’ll embark on an early-morning uphill trek to Kala Patthar in order to see the spectacular sunrise. You can see Mount Everest’s most beautiful sunrise from Kalapatthar. There is no doubt that the view will be amazing. This most wonderful moment will always be in your memory.

After taking in the beauties of the sunrise, we will make our way back to Gorakshep for breakfast. We’ll take a short break after breakfast before descending to Gorakshep along the same path. Our walk continues on to Pheriche from Gorakshep.

Day 15: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

We will walk down to Namche after leaving the stunning Himalayas behind. It will be our final goodbye to Mount Everest. After a hearty breakfast, the journey will continue.

The trail winds through forests that are home to a variety of species. We shall arrive at Namche Bazaar after passing numerous chortens and prayer flags. In Namche, you can unwind while consuming food and beverages in bars and restaurants close by.

Day 16: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Monjo

You will be returning to Monjo today. You’ll start your walk after breakfast in the early morning. The memories from your time in the Sagarmatha National Park will stay with you even though you’re departing today. Stop for lunch en route to Monjo. In the evening, take a stroll through the village to catch the final glimmers of the snow-covered mountains.

Day 17: Trek from Monjo to Lukla

The trail continues to Lukla today by descending along the same path as before. You will bid all the mountain views that were left behind a fond farewell today. The final destination of the hike, Lukla, is reached after another 5 to 6 hours of walking.

When you get to Lukla, you spend the first few hours relaxing in a modest lodge and the rest of the time trying the local food before going to bed.

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu

After breakfast early in the morning, one of our personnel will drive you to Lukla Airport. Your flight will take 30 minutes, and then you will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Then, another transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu will be made by one of our representatives. You can rest in your accommodation after such a long journey.

You can even take a trip to some of the neighboring Kathmandu attractions if you’d like. Finally, we’ll offer you a farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 19: Departure

Our representative will be there to pick you up from the hotel prior to the departure time. You will then be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport.
